AFTER THE DESTRUCTION OF THE LIBRARY DEFENDERS HAVE BEEN RUSHING TO RECOVER TEXTS FROM THE PAST. SOME HAVE EVEN SPENT TIME TO WRITE NEW ENTRIES INTO THE LIBRARY. BELOW ARE TEXTS ADDED DURING THE LAST FEW DAYS. THESE DEFENDER TEXTS ARE ALL WRITTEN FROM ONE PERSON’S POINT OF VIEW AND BELIEF… Dear sister, Today was an eventful day. A flare rose above the Lunar Docks, but when I arrived, there was no danger. Alyseris had come on duty, and was there with General Kieran and Gaburieru. She explained she was going after her mastery target, the Corrupted Raiden Wyrm Druemvor. With the Cure having been collected some time ago, she now sought to cure Druemvor to eliminate the threat, as opposed to granting him eternal rest. I cautioned that this idea may not work, depending on how long he’d been corrupted, but Alyseris wanted to try. As opposed as I was to working with those chaotic Doonga, no one else is crazy enough to sail the Sea of Dawn. With the arrival of Rin and Atyus, we set sail. The voyage was bissfully smooth for a venture into the Sea of Dawn. We arrived to an island full of crystalline and basilisks. The doongas were happy to collect fuel here. No sign of our target though, so we went on our way. As we sailed deeper into the Sea of Dawn, something surged under the water. A head rose up from the depths – it was our target. Rin, Alyseris, General Kieran, and Gaburieru had ammunitions coated in the cure, and opened fire as the wyrm descended on our...

Defender Text: Charter Chronicles

AFTER THE DESTRUCTION OF THE LIBRARY DEFENDERS HAVE BEEN RUSHING TO RECOVER TEXTS FROM THE PAST. SOME HAVE EVEN SPENT TIME TO WRITE NEW ENTRIES INTO THE LIBRARY. BELOW ARE TEXTS ADDED DURING THE LAST FEW DAYS. THESE DEFENDER TEXTS ARE ALL WRITTEN FROM ONE PERSON’S POINT OF VIEW AND BELIEF… Into Twilight I am one of 7 sisters that serve what is commonly known as God, but what our sect calls the Charter. My sister Saraneth, the second amongst us, told me to come to these lands and become a Defender. The rest will follow me when my work is complete. I first arrived to the plains, wide eyed and more than a little nervous. It was there that I was found by Sclera. I told him of my creed, to bring rest to the weary. He explained to me the four jobs of Defenders. It is with some irony now, that I recall Sclera’s statement, “And Hawkers… are very fast.” He showed me to Canyon where I took a room in the tavern, and slept. For 8 months. When I awoke, I found a badge next to me. Bordemia. The newbie clan. I came outside and Sclera took me to gather Flanae seeds for Tryteh. In those fields I pondered the unrest of the land, that a Flanae could disperse energy that ultimately coalesces into a Fire Fiend. What agony is there in the land, that it could create a Fiend? Sclera could not answer me. He thought nothing strange of it. He told me of Ameerah, and her daughter Atarah, who was also his pupil. There...

What is a Champion?

Greetings,The following are notes found under some rubble in the Mystic City. They were salvaged and added to the Library. Please handle with care,-Historian It is something that is kinda weird for me to answer since these would be virtues that I would expect my students to follow based on my own actions and behaviors. But the description of what a champion embodies is something that has been present in the land way before I came around. You could easily look at one of the greatest if not the greatest Angel Guards in my opinion, Junon. So this kicks me back to square one… what is a champion? A champion is someone who, regardless of circumstances, will overcome and find a way to thrive. Have you ever wondered what it takes to be a champion? It’s not just about talent or luck – it’s about the mindset, work ethic, and resilience that drives someone to succeed. So, what makes a champion? Here are some key characteristics to consider: Passion and PurposeChampions are driven by a deep passion and purpose. They love what they do and are motivated by more than just the prospect of fame or fortune. This passion fuels their drive and helps them stay focused, even when the going gets tough. Dedication and StrictnessChampions don’t just talk about their goals – they work towards them every day. They are dedicated and disciplined in their training and practice, and they never let setbacks or obstacles stand in their way. Mental ToughnessChampions have a strong mental game. They know how to handle pressure and stay composed under stress. They don’t...

Recovered Text: Centurion Civil War

MANY DEFENDERS HAVE TAKEN THE TIME TO RECOVER TEXTS FROM THE PAST TO ESTABLISH IN THE NEWLY CONSTRUCTED LIBRARY.  BELOW ARE TEXTS RECOVERED DURING THE LAST FEW DAYS. THE TEXT ARE IN THE POINT OF VIEW OF THE ONES LIVING IN THAT ERA. THESE TEXTS MAY BE INCOMPLETE…. Civil Conflicts are common, and can cause lots of damage. But as Aruans we are aware that all this is to grow our forces stronger. The Goddess ensures our safety in these conflicts, here are a few reports and information of the Civil Conflict that occurred just several months ago.  The Terrible Terrors, or Terror Squad, were a group of strong Demigods that joined together for a purpose. That purpose is to ensure that a General upholds the highest standards required for Arua, the Goddess. Part of the duty a “Terror” decides to take is the elimination of Generals who fail the Goddess. This further promotes the growth of other Demigods who might be more eligible for the task of General. The Terrible Terrors were funded on the belief that their actions are for the Goddess, and will go through any means to accomplish it. Those that take part of the Terror Squad are usually Demigods who feel they can themselves be Generals, or wish to force a change in the current composition of Generals. This “squad” of Demigods are not arranged, nor ordered to carry out their purpose; they simply decide to. For instance when a “Terrible” decides a General is incompetent, an Aruan Law exists to allow them to challenge their target.  A Demigod challenge does not need to...
