Welcome to the world of mining. Becoming a miner requires a great deal of determination and resilience. As a second job class, you have the flexibility to choose your first job class, and it is highly recommended to opt for the soldier class to benefit from its valuable passives.
To begin your journey as a miner, visit Adalric at the Capitol’s fountain to obtain your Miner documentation. Congratulations on taking your first step towards this profession. Your first set of books is vital to your success. You may have noticed that some stores sell two mining skill books. These books have been meticulously written by experienced miners such as Ikaness Miners, Moldies, Goblins, Penguins, Grunters and Ferrell Staff, to teach non-combatant defenders. One of these books will teach you an essential skill similar to Backpack Training and Backpack Mastery, offering you passive HP Recovery Amount 20 and Backpack Capacity 7500. The other book will equip you with the primary means to mine crystalline – a damage action that, when used in conjunction with your Pick Axe, will yield maximum output of crystals during a mining run. These basics form the foundation of your mining knowledge.
However, to master your craft, you need to expand your knowledge beyond the basics. There are teachings that cannot be bought and are only accessible through a mentor. You can seek out one of the many available mentors, who will undoubtedly challenge you with a series of tests to assess your skills. As a miner, your expertise extends beyond mining to harvesting, digging, and farming. You will also need to be familiar with various tools and equipment, including spades, shovels and even skinning daggers. Advanced teachings will assist you in developing these specialties. Two of these teachings are passives, one increasing Item Drop Rate by 28, while the other provides HP Recovery Amount of 150 and Charm of 20 3%. The last teaching is a Buff, which increases Max Hp and Max Energy by 20%.
