Salutations Initiate,       Since the discovery of these new planets, people have began to harness their energies. Using this new ability our skills of fighting became strong. My name is Muse, one of the Angel Guards who dedicates time to teaching the younger generation how to manipulate the energy and use the elements as a weapon. We train our bodies not to be physically strong but to use the energy within to create powerful energy attacks that can literally manipulate the elements in our favor.       Many wish that they could do these sorts of miracles, but under my teachings you will all be part of the proud that can change the fate of battle in a second. Using Wands we will also be the support of the army and with the staff we will be the mystical force that pushes it forward. We’ll even pick up a mace if we have to.       I had many battles and I am proud to say my teachings will help further our growth in the lands and become perhaps the most legendary race in these planets. Hello Initiate,       My name is Soldi, the founder of the Soldier Discipline. When you arrive to rank ten, you are required but not forced to have one of the four Jobs. As a former Angel Guard and warrior of the Akram Kingdom, I have knowledge that could benefit the new Defenders and Warriors that enter the Kingdom. I trained for years preparing to face any enemy that threatens my friends. I mastered a large variety of weapons that allowed me to fight against all sorts of opponents.   Through endless self-training I can teach you how to withstand attacks and how to deliver the most powerful blows. Your attack power, stamina and strength will be taken to your most greatest point. I teach many techniques and skills which the Righteous Crusaders and Junon Order allow me to sell and tutor. Techniques using a large variety of weapons like One-Handed Sword, Two-Handed Sword, Shield, Blunt, Mace, Hammer, Axe, Spear, Cross Bow, and Cannon. These weapons and skills when learned, will make you perhaps one of the most powerful defenders in the lands.       Thanks to my training you will be able to advance to the next disciplines, Knight or Champion. Two of my greatest friends Champ and Knight formed these Job Classes in order to expand the knowledge that I start you off with. Creatures of the Lands

The lands aren’t only inhabited by Humans and Natives, there is also a large variety of creatures. Each very unique and different than the rest. The all form part of the delicate balance of the worlds of Defenders of the Cross. Much like the Natives, creatures play a powerful role in the delicate balance and chain of the territories they inhabit. This has turned to turmoil because of the arrival of the Pioneers and the settlement of the Human race. Here are some of the different creatures and wildlife you will encounter in the lands: Flanea – Mostly seen in Adventurer’s Plain, Breezy Hills and Xita Refuge. Choropy – Mostly seen in Adventurer’s Plain. Golems – Residents of the Adventurer’s Plain, El Verloon Desert, Planet Orlo and Gorge of Silence. Pumpkin – Mostly seen in the Valley of Luxem Tower and Desert of the Dead. Bees – Residents of the El Verloon Hives and Valley of Luxem Tower. Beetle – Can be spotted anywhere in the planet of Junon, Lunar, Eldeon or Orlo. Wasps – Residents of the El Verloon Hives, Canyons, Shady Jungle and Marsh of Ghosts. More might be added as they are spoken.   AFK Away from keyboard. Aggro As a verb, it refers to a hostile mob that has noticed a player and is actively trying to attack that player. As a noun, it refers to the amount of “hostility” the player has generated on the mob. In typical combat strategy, the fighter tries to take as much aggro as possible away from weaker players such as healers and mages. Alt Short for “alternate”. It refers to the alternate character a player has from their main character. This is extremely stable category as Main Characters are always the highest level and sometimes mains become moth-balled. AOE Same as AE. Area of Effect. BAM An acronym for “Big Ass Monster”. Usually refers to world bosses or any other large monster in the game. Bind In certain characters are teleported back to a safe spot when they die. This spot is predetermined by the user. The act of determining the safe spot requires an explicit action by the user. That action is known as a bind. The spot is typically referred to as a bind spot. Bio Short for biological. Usually used to indicate bathroom break. Energy is an omnipresent natural force within the Defenders of the Cross Universe / Planetary System. It permeates all things, living and nonliving, throughout the planets. Living beings can interact with Energy, including Humans. Humans that have been exposed to this ambient energy slowly become infused with it as well, as with all living things, this leads to what was known in the past as the “Birth Gate Effect.” Humans born on these planets afterwards have naturally become exposed and infused with this energy. Some humans in particularly have developed an ability to control their Energy, these are the ones chosen to become Defenders. Defenders use their own Energy to enhance aspects of themselves and in techniques developed by Mankind during their time living on these planets. Energy manipulators can fashion it into various forms; they can give it the aspect one of many elements, such as Fire or Ice; they can forge constructs out of energy or they can infuse it into materials with the ability to conduct or store energy, such as a variety of metals or remotely control an object such as a blade, called Phantom Swords; they can increase their own internal energy flow to enhance physical performance, such as increased movement speed or attacking power; they can also release it violently – either intentionally or not – to release raw energy referred to as Unaspected Energy.
