Unions
Unions are the economic powers of the Ruling Organization. They are a group of merchants, researchers, fighters and diplomats who work hard to maintain the economy of the citizens in the lands. As far as players go, only Clans can develop themselves to become Unions. Clan Masters are the only ones that can compete to become Union Master.
Each Union in Defenders of the Cross manages a different aspect of the economy.
Example: Based on the remarkable invention of the Mana Engine, the Ferrell Guild developed a form of transportation known as the Cart. The creation of the Mana Engine signaled a period of rapid scientific progress on the planet of Junon. The Ferrell Guild leaders, who have been front runners of interplanetary travel, are led by the Angel Guard Ferrell, and manage businesses and supplies of the Akram Kingdom.
Meanwhile the Arumic Faction works to research all sorts of aspects in the Akram Kingdom. They also focus on selling and working with any type of supplies that use Energy or Mana. Its founder was the Angel Guard, Arumic. It is believed their sole purpose for business in the lands is to research the creatures and natives. The Arumic Faction specializes in producing and selling magical products such as potions and magic books. As their unique magical products grew more popular, they began to compete with the Ferrell Guild and other merchant guilds.
Last example is the Brigade of the Righteous Crusaders. Originally, the Righteous Crusaders were a small squad. However, they quickly became known for their brave exploits. In battle, they earned the respect and honor of the people and King Akram. When the Defender Army of the Akram Kingdom was founded, the Righteous Crusaders were promoted to become the official guardians of the Akram Kingdom Guilds and Factions. The Righteous Crusaders deploy Akram Rangers to protect the diverse supplies and warehouses of the lands.
Joining a Union
Joining a Faction, Brigade, Union or Guild is very simple. All you have to do is visit their NPC representatives in the Capital City and ask to join them (using the M.O.B). Joining a Faction will allow you to use their Union Houses and the Faction Shops. Factions can even develop resource drives and missions for Defenders to carry out. Be aware that there may be restrictions or alternative means by which to join a Union depending on the decrees of their Union Lords.
Creating a Guild
The title of Guildmaster is given to a person who has started working and moving forward the economy for the players of the game. A proper Lord would start by making shops and selling items needed by every Defender. Many believe it is exclusive for Dealers or Artisans but if a person has shown the ability to manage the economy, they will be able to become a Lord. Creating a Guild requires that the M.O.B. System recognizes your actions and begins to give you Clan Currency, which you as a Clan Master can use to attempt and purchase NPCs.
Creating a Faction
The title of Faction Lord is given to a person who has started working and moving forward with research for the economy and the lands. A proper Faction Lord would start by making shops and selling items that use Mana or Energy that are needed by every Defender. Many believe it is exclusive for Muses, Clerics or Mages but if a person has shown the ability to research and gather information on creatures, natives and the land, they will be able to become a Faction Leader. Creating a Faction requires that the M.O.B. System recognizes your actions and begins to give you the ability to purchase NPCs.
Creating an Order
The title of Dignitary is given to a person who has started working and moving forward with civil affairs. A proper Union Master would start by making constant contributions to the citizens of the lands. They need to gather academics and aid in all sorts of civil and political issues. If a person has shown the ability to aid the towns and cities of their organization with their clan they have the entire ability to become a Union Lord. Creating a Union requires that the M.O.B. System recognizes your actions and leadership skills to give you ability to purchase NPCs.
Creating a Brigade
The title of Commander is given to a person who has started working and moving forward a powerful clan. If a person has shown the ability to lead in combat and defeated multiple enemies with his clan they have the entire ability to become a Brigade Master. Creating a Brigade requires that the M.O.B. System recognizes your actions and leadership skills to give you the ability to purchase NPCs.
