Greetings,The following are notes found in a hidden cave of the Anima Lake. They were salvaged and added to the Library.Please handle with care,-Historian Since I began teaching Defenders, I’ve always been working side by side with Clery. These days we find ourselves stuck here, more than we’d like. I love Kiel, and his plan to move slowly seems solid, but at times I disobey and head out to look around. Recently I found myself talking to one of our enemies, a young Mage called Guliarme. He showed me a few things he learned from some of his superiors. As I saw him show me those abilities, I realized that the enemy is using my teaching against us. My duty, when I took it, was to give Defenders the proper tools to survive everything this land throws their way. The fact that demons are the ones who taught this Defender, really hurt me. I made a decision that day, do a little more. Leaving something behind to help those same Defenders, showing them what other Defenders have done before and giving them new tools and guidelines to help improve. A life like this, I don’t wish it on anyone. Before Aquillia was killed he told me “Had Letron not turned into a demon, the others wouldn’t have gone out and done it.”, he looked at me as if it was my fault. My duty, when I took it, was to give Defenders the proper tools to survive everything this land those their way. Little did I know that those same Defenders we prepared would become this. I still believe in Kiel’s dream, a Defender army to protect humanity and unite it. That’s why even in these desperate moments, I try to help. I’ve decided to write here some notes, to help any future Cleric out. Here is a brief explanation of all the different types of Clerics. Maybe, once this is all over, things can return to normal. Defenders become the hope of the people again. I sure hope we can find a way to make it happen, someday. I am the Master Cleric Clery, and I am not very good at naming things. On a day much like today, I was sitting over a hill with Asch. While looking over the El Verloon Outpost, I was asked a question by Asch. “What will you do now?” It is something that I asked myself for weeks, since the massacre. That’s when Kiel came by, and asked me to assist in the formation of a new army, the Defender Army. I took the opportunity to shape new warriors that would be ready for the things to come. Hopefully avoid something like the Massacre of the Death Desert. I wrote many Skill Books since then, trained several Great Defenders and survived a few more wars. But even now, I still think I have more to teach. This latest article is a small guide to help new defenders see the diverse types of Scouts and Raiders that exist. I’m aware my counterpart butchered his article on diversity, so I plan to correct it. Raisco has let his ego become his true north, and has entirely forgotten the real reason the Job Class was created. That is to help Defenders and prepare them. Bow Scout One thing I do give props to Raisco, is that he explained the everyday run in the mill scout very well. I will just be adding a bit to it. A while back I read one of Arti’s books that spoke about the Types of Artisans. Now that I am one of the strongest warriors in all the lands, I thought “Heck! I can do that too.” The Principality of Junon has just been set up, Sikuku and Letron are leading things so I can take a break to write a bit on the Types of Raiders & Scouts. I’m Raisco, yes that one you’ve heard about, and as Master of the Raider and Scout classes I will write to you today about the diverse types of both Raiders & Scouts. A little background to how I became the Master. One day Asch, Intercep and I were spending time in the El Verloon Outpost, looking at the monument, when Kiel made an approach. He asked me to help him out in forming a new army. I didn’t see it as something I’d want to do, since just a few weeks before the previous army was wiped out, but Intercep convinced me to assist. The deal was to do it together with Intercep and form Job Classes that can expand the teachings of Hawker. I liked Hawker, he helped me out and still does, Kiel, in my honest opinion, is a bit of a self righteous…well, anyways, now that I am stronger than Joshuan and even Akram, I decided to expand some more for your understanding.
